Home Delivery request
Thank you for inquiring about a home delivery. We are happy to assist our neighbors. We need some basic information and have a few requirements for a home food box delivery. See request form below.
Food delivery is available within the Verde Valley the 1st and 3rd week of each month for those who truly need it. Our goal is to meet the needs of those who are not already receiving food from community food share events. Home deliveries are not simply for convenience (i.e. "I just don't feel like going to pick up food from a public food share event"). This service will serve those who are not able to travel to a food pantry to receive food due to mobility or health issues, lack of transportation, scheduling conflict, etc. Fresh and donated food will be available to anyone who has a need. TEFAP commodity boxes (the prepacked St. Mary's boxes with nonperishable food) are available to anyone who qualifies under the federal guidelines.
If you are able to travel to access to free food resources, you are encouraged to find a local food share event or select a "proxy" person who can attend a food share on your behalf. We can help you find those events and refer you to a food provider if you are not able to search for the information on your own. The Verde Valley is blessed with abundant resources for food.
Deliveries occur on Wednesday and Thursday of the 1st and 3rd week of each month (subject to change). An exact delivery time is not guaranteed. To receive an all-inclusive delivery, you MUST be home. If you are not home, we will not leave any cold/perishable food. In that scenario, only canned, dry, and nonperishable food will be provided.
While we love animals, we cannot enter your property if animals are present (outside), and you are not. Please make sure that any dogs, goats, ninja rabbits or other animals are in the house or safely away from the point where our team member will access your home.
If you are scheduled for a monthly or twice per month delivery and will not need the delivery for a particular week, please email info@bridgeofmercy.org or call our office at 928-239-1661 no later than Monday at Noon. If you do not give notice that you don't need the food, you will be removed from the program.
The deliveries are handled by gracious volunteers. Please treat them with dignity and respect. Disrespect of our volunteers will not be tolerated. If a volunteer reports an incident, you will be removed from the delivery program immediately. In that event, we will refer you to a different food pantry for future service.
Please complete the request form below. A request does not guarantee service. Delivery reservations are limited.
